Pike Place Market is a public market overlooking the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, Washington, United States. The Market, which opened in 1907, is patterned in part after a Turkish souq. Here you will find gorgeous freshly-cut flower bouquets, fresh fish, fine foods and much, much more. Be sure to watch the flying fish! The fish vendors will even package your fish purchase in dry ice for your travels home. Do not forget to visit the original Starbucks. |

Located on the grounds of Seattle Center, Space Needle was built for the 1962 World's Fair. The Space Needle features an observation deck at 520 feet (158.4 m), the SkyCity restaurant at 500 feet (152 m), and a gift shop. From the top of it, one can see not only the Downtown Seattle skyline, but also the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands.
